Born in Cairo, Egypt Tamer Kattan felt like he moved to the future when he left a 3rd world Islamic country for liberal and sunny California. Every city had a mall. Every home had a color TV and every woman had...a face.
Having an afro, an accent and sweaters with elbow patches made Tamer an easy target for bullying and THAT is where he first discovered comedy. At the ripe old age of 7 he started performing stand up for his class mates.
Having an abusive father gave him the ability to take a bullies punch, but the bullies couldn't take it when Tamer retaliated the only way he knew how: by making them the subjects of his school yard stand up routines.
The day that one bullied begged: "Dude, please stop making fun of me and I promise to stop beating you up." was the day Tamer knew comedy was powerful stuff.
2010 marked the first year that Tamer decided to pursue his passion and he's been on fire ever since. He's a regular at The Comedy Store and performs all over town at the Improv, HaHa Cafe, Ice House, etc...Headlining is in his near future.
Find his latest stand up on YouTube: "Tamer Kattan @ the HaHa Cafe" or his pee your pants status updates on Facebook. He loves making friends with people that don't hit him in the face.

Zack Beseda was born at a young age in Waco, Texas where he basically played video games throughout his formative years. In high school, Zack excelled in English, lunch and faking enthusiasm during football practices. After coming to the conclusion that a career as a professional wrestler probably wasn’t going to pan out he enrolled the University of North Texas as a film major. While there, he wrote and performed in the award-winning cult series Deadly Cinema, a mash-up of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Elvira: Mistress of the Dark.
Zack then moved to Los Angeles where he acts, writes and performs stand-up. His biggest role to date is the Sci Fi Channel “movie” The War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave directed by stalwart 80s icon, C. Thomas Howell (The Outsiders, Red Dawn, Soul Man). Amidst the media whirlwind surrounding the premier of WW2TNW (as it‘s known by fans), Zack could be found between Adrienne Barbeau and Jonathan Frakes on the list of Internet Movie DataBase’s most popular actors.
In 2011, Zack has appeared in several indie features, short films, and, if you pause it at the right moment, an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. He performs stand-up all over Los Angeles and recently received his first jury summons. He has written two comedy pilots, a feature and half-written many more.

Jonny Loquasto began life in a lovely town called Northampton, Pennsylvania. He ate chicken fingers, french fries & tartar sauce nonstop as a young kid & took the crown as Prince Chubby aka the Funny Fat Kid. Don't ever tell him that Long John Silvers isn't a 5 star restaurant. Eventually becoming obsessed with sports, JL convinced himself that he was the next Charles Barkley.
After promptly getting cut from his highschool basketball team every single year, Jonny went onto the University of Sciences in Philadelphia and somehow played Division II College Basketball. By "played" that basically means he sat on the end of the bench, talked trash, and would occasionally play once the team was winning or losing by 25 points. J-Loq achieved a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and moved out to Orange County, CA because he had never seen actual breast implants in person. 6 months into his OC arrival, he convinced himself that he was still a funny fat kid and was determined to make a career entertaining others. Since then JL has become the face of CBS Sports Mobile & CBS Mobile's Comedy Channel, written 2 sitcom pilots, and he now his own show at the Brea & Irvine Improv titled "Last Call Comedy".
So go check out www.JLoComedy.com, where you can enjoy his writing, acting, and live comedy shows. And if you happen to hurt yourself while laughing, he can fix any injuries you might endure. Thanks for checking out JLoComedy.com!!

This week's show features Alex Fox and Rachel Lewis of The Jon & Eddie Show! These two comedians have been described as two of the funniest women in L.A by the Los Angeles Times.
Originally from the Windy City, Alex Fox and Rachel Lewis (aka Jon and Eddie) have performed comedy all over Chicago including, Second City, iO (formerly Improv Olympic), and the Annoyance Theater. In 2008, Jon and Eddie made their way west, taking the Los Angeles comedy scene by storm (Comedy Central Stage, Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, iO West). Currently, you can catch these funny ladies performing at the iO West Theater in Hollywood (their sketch show was voted one of the top 100 things to do in LA by msn.com) or producing, writing, and starring in there own web series, which can be found on their website, www.thejonandeddieshow.com. Also check out Current T.V's, Rotten Tomato's show, and find Jon and Eddie contributing comedic commentary on the latest movie releases.
The Jon and Eddie Show is a must-see, and these two are really something. Listen in as they describe their career thus far and talk about what it takes to create and perform your own show. You can catch their upcoming projects and get the dates and times for their upcoming shows at www.thejonaendeddieshow.com These two have a great presence and are true performers, it was an honor to have them on "What's So Funny?" they are an entertaining inspiration to me and up and coming comics everywhere.

This is the debut show of WHAT'S SO FUNNY? on www.isgoodradio.com where i will be bringing in the best in the local L.A comedy scene, improv actors, stand-up, writer, actors and funny people.
My first show started off with a bang. I was lucky enough to have 3 members of Hollywood's IO West improv troupe, U.S.S. Rock N' Roll: Molly Hale, Bryan Iryzk, & Ricki Kalil. I'm thankful that they kept the show moving during my rookie disc jockey moments. This is the sound of a deer in headlights.
Plus, great music from the www.isgoodmusic.com
community of L.A. indie bands and artists along with personal music faves made for a great show.
WHAT'S SO FUNNY? broadcasts every Sunday from 4pm to 5pm Pacific Time on www.isgoodradio.com.
Thank you U.S.S. Rock N' Roll and thanks to all the bands at www.isgoodmusic.com!
Live, Love and LAUGH,
Sarah
